CREATING DNR APPAREL

What started out as a phone conversation and a text message has over the last couple of months evolved into DNR Apparel… A couple of friends, one with a great idea and an overwhelming need to fill a missing niche in a market flooded with cheesy t shirts and slogans, another friend with a head full of ideas just bursting at the seams needing to get some of their creative juices flowing…

This is DNR Apparel…

When we started DNR Apparel, the initial idea was shirts for firefighters with unique designs that they would want to wear in their down time to display who they are and what they do without screaming it at people with the typical “I am a firefighter” shirt that is available on the market and the shirts they get issued through work. We also found that there really wasn’t anything out there for Police and Paramedics and that because we all work so closely together and stood for a lot of the same core values that we would expand our thinking and design idea’s to include all these elements into our design philosophy… you might find some shirts that are leaning one direction more than another, just like your heart, not in the middle of your chest it’s leaning a little to left, you will find that there is 
something in the design that draws you in and makes you love it regardless…

DNR uses American Apparel shirts “the softest, smoothest, best-looking T-shirt available anywhere”, for a better feel and fit…

Our designs are drawn in house, by a friend and fellow firefighter who understands our design philosophy and we all work very closely together on our ideas and the final designs that we put on your shirts.

DNR also makes a point of using local small businesses for our printing and graphic work, we believe in supporting the small guys and growing together…
