| | Recruitments Has anyone heard about any recruitment's coming up in 2010? | |
Posted: 1/1/2010 12:40 PM | |
| | I have heard that Cambridge, Kitchener/Waterloo and Guelph are running a recruitment in February 2010. Can anyone back this up? Fire Departments are experiencing a huge volume of Firefighters retiring. Also, It has been in the interest of all IAFF members to now have a mandatory retirement age of 60 years old. This is forcing seasoned firefighters into retirement against their wishes. Meaning that there will be an even larger amount of retirements than normally expected. Just food for thought, Be ready for 2010, this will be a big recruitment year. Thinking of a career change? Now is the time.
