Anyone else doing this workout? What do you think?
I am personally doing workout and think it's great. It is a total body workout series, 13 DVD in all. There is absolutly no thought process to this workout. All you do is put the DVD in and follow along (if you can). This is no joke, I've had great results. Read about this more in my blog.

I've heard lots of good things about P90X. I use Craig Ballantynes Turbulance Training, which seems quite similar. They both seem to use the same concept, core body conditioning. Definately the best workout I've ever used.

I will have to investigate this workout that you're talking about. How long have you been using it? Do you find it prepares you for the CPAT firefighter Test? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated, and if anyone else has some feedback regarding the P90X workout or the one mentioned in this discussion, I would like to here from you. Cheers!

Ive been using Turbulence Training for about 2 years now. I felt a big difference in doing the fitness tests. I breezed through the CPAT pretty easily. And the program has you do interval training, which is good practice for the VO2 max at York.

I'm going to be doing the P90X program again starting March 1, 2010. I will be doing the workout in it's entirety. Meaning I will be taking pictures of myself throughout the work which will include day 1, day 30, day 60 and the last photo will be taken on day 90. I would like to extend an invitation to all members to do this workout with me. Meaning you will start on the same day (March 1st) and we will encourage each other along the way. Please post if you are interested. I guarantee you will get in the best shape of your life. I have also posted a blog about the P90x workout, check it out.

Right On! We are not alone... there are others that will be doing it with us. Some are firefighters already and others are recruits such as yourself. I have been mentally preparing myself for this journey, as well as eating as much fast food as I can... I sure won't be eating that stuff when the workout starts. If there's anyone else out there who wishes to join me, now is the time. March 1st is coming soon! I PERSONALLY CHALLENGE YOU!

P90X WORKOUT UPDATE I am now in month two of the workout and feel great. My level of fitness is increasing daily, I've never looked or felt better in my life. I think I made through Easter okay as far as the diet is concerned. Workouts suffered a little but, I did my best to get them done. Too date I have probably missed 5 workouts in total, however I've tried to catch up by doubling up the workouts on other days. All and all still going strong. Let me know how you're making out.

I finished the program about a month ago. I lost about 30lbs doing it. Have just gotten Insanity and am going to give it a go. Love P90x but need to shed some more pounds and feel the extra cardio in Insanity will be beneficial.
